"Very near bus stand either from Vanadzor or local Alaverdi bus. 50 meters walk only. Anna Maria very affectionate and helping. I could get in-house facilities like her son took me around the Monasteries and also dropped me to Sadakhlo Bagratashen Border. No Marshrutka goes from Alaverdi. I was charged what is the usual rate for taxis. Kind of him to take me to Border atc 8.30 a.m. The weather in mid January was great and excellent walks in Sanahin village around and very peaceful bereft of people on the road. It is a perfect place for writers, painters and for those who like to ruminate on life and existence."
