"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

Within 15 minutes of walking you can get directly to the city center and the harbour. The town park is within a 5 minute walk. Marna is a very friendly and humorous person as well. "We booked months ago before all the bad reviews so we’re very worried when we saw them all - honestly our experience was fine! Standard Icelandic check in process - was sent a code (can’t remember if we asked the day before after reading the reviews), didn’t actually meet anyone Well equipped kitchen Comfortable bed Good parking"

"Very nice apartment in a quiet place with a beautiful view of nature with good air, good instructions on how to get to the apartment, very convenient with an electric lock with a code. Nearby is the Moldovan embassy, two steps away (for those who care). I recommend!"

Main window is in the bedroom, so the livingroom is kind of dark, but with lights on it didn't bother me.

La piscina es amplia y agradable, ideal para relajarme después de pasar el día en la playa. Sin duda, lo que más destaco son las vistas increíbles que hicieron mi estancia aún más especial. "We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

"Pristine; large, pleasantly decorated rooms; hot and cold water on each floor and coffee at reception; beautiful view out the back of the mountains. Set in a very pleasant square with a number of good restaurants, well-located for the historic centre and the destinations up the valley. 30 minute pleasant walk to the cable car."
