"The location of the hotel is great - a short walk to the centre and to the Church. Most tours/buses pick-up and drop-off at Bus Stop 6, which is approx a 3 min walk from the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. There are lots of areas to sit and relax, including a "cafe" area near reception, and a bar and lounge areas too. Great breakfast - plenty of choices from hot to continental options. Bed was very comfortable, good sized bathroom with walk-in shower, and the room had plenty of space for clothes. Coffee machine in the room, along with a small fridge. They also have a roof terrace which is great if you want to search for the Northern Lights."

I did encounter significant difficulty with the entrance doors of the hotel due to my mobility needs. Trying to push one set of doors, then pull the next set while managing my suitcase and walking stick was a real struggle, and I found them quite heavy to push and pull too. Automatic doors would have greatly improved accessibility. Alternatively, if the reception staff at the front desk were alert to guests struggling, they could offer assistance which would make a big difference, especially for those with mobility challenges. This was the only disappointing aspect of my stay, and I hope you might consider this feedback for future improvements. Another thing we didn't particularly like, and I accept this is probably personal preference, were the toiletries. Hand wash, hand cream, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all Charcoal. We found this quite overpowering and left a lingering "bonfire" smell on body and clothes.

To be fair to the owners my son booked first and I booked later. Neither of us noticed that we would be sharing bathrooms with other families in the house, which I absolutely hate, but that is not the owners fault. Other guests were eating in the kitchen area when we arrived, so we felt the need to retreat to our bedrooms for some privacy for both families. Neither bathroom was available as both were in use. I had two single beds in my room, the bed was quite comfortable but the pillows and duvets looked crumpled and dingy, though the duvet was actually very warm. It was fortunate that I didn't want to go to bed early as the family who had been eating were very noisy as they completed the washing up. Both the dishwasher and a washing machine were broken. The toddler in their group ran around until about 10pm. I slept badly as the person in the next room had a cough and every time he moved in bed there was a loud thump on the dividing bedroom wall and very noisy bed springs each time he turned over. I can only assume the walls were made of tissue paper. As I couldn't sleep I got up early and showered. The shower doors don't join together effectively but the shower was ok. The other bathroom is so small it is not possible to sit on the toilet without some manoeuvring of the door to gain access to the room. There is no space to hang anything. I could go on but I will leave it with a promise from me to never stay there again.

"This could be one of the best stays I had. The Potato Storage is run by a local family and I can tell they put a lot of thought and care into it. They even prepared a little booklet about the place with lovely photos and instructions. The studio apartment is very well taken care of, great aesthetics, great functionalities, everything is clean, organised and works well. For each studio you have your own parking slot right next to it. The studio is on the bottom of a snowy mountain, in between two glaciers and multiple attractions. From the window you can see the mountains in snow. Communication is excellent both online and offline. Regina is very nice, polite and welcoming, she personally welcomed us and sent us off. The personal touch made our stay even better."

Everything is great. Food options (grocery and restaurant) around is limited due to the location. But this was communicated to us well in advance, so we brought in groceries ourselves.

"Zwei Etagen mir jeweils eigenem Badezimmer, große, geräumige Schlafzimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Schön gelegen, aber man braucht natürlich ein Auto. Komfortabel und gemütlich eingerichtetes Wohnzimmer. Die Veranda sieht schick aus, aber wir konnten sie nicht nutzen, da wir im Spätherbst da waren. Die Küche ist super eingerichtet, und sehr sauber. Von Westen kommend muss man eine Einfahrt später nehmen, als Google Maps sagt, wenn man den Namen der Unterkunft als Ziel verwendet."

Nur eine Nachtlampe je Schlafzimmer, und in einem fehlte sie ganz. Zu wenige Steckdosen in den Schlafzimmern.
