"Very friendly when they made the breakfast. As we went for diving they made breakfast also earlier so we can eat before. Everything (like speedboat) well arranged. Would come again."

"Perfect location for a quick stopover. We were unable to enjoy the pool area and gym, but it looked really nice. Walking distance to some nice restaurants on the coast. a quick 15-minute drive back to the airport"

Not enough bedding and pillows were provided for all the guests on all the beds, so we had to find some extra in the cupboards. The host wasn't very helpful with assisting in getting a taxi; their response when asked was, "Better to find someone from the airport when you arrive", in connection to the return leg.

"Lovely, clean modern hotel. Room sizes good. I loved the Bed linen and towels. Good location in the centre of everything, though nothing is far away. The staff were wonderful. Decent breakfast. We enjoyed our stay."

As with all the local islands the issue around sunbeds on the bikini beaches we found to be a problem. You had to pay $10 a day for hard beds There are no free sunbeds from Althiri, although the hotel staff thought they were free, so it was very confusing. They seemed to be owned by the water sport shed. I’d check with hotels going forward what they offer as we found it an ongoing problem.
