Country house sa Greece

"This is very peaceful independent house. The atmosphere was really good. Owner picked me up and drop me off when I checked in and checked out. It is far away from the town, but local buses are running regularly. Easy to catch them."

The road to the house was not easy to walk when it gets raining. Dry season should be ok though.

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

"What a charming place. The lodge was super cosy and beautifully decorated. The views from the balcony and roid terrace are stunning. Lots of amazing walks straight from the doorstep.The log fire in the bedroom was a fantastic touch."

"The view from restaurant is awsome, not many places in the world like this. Maria took care of us with love. Breakfast excellent, local fruits, tea and coffee, omelette. Excellent grilled tuna or other fish for lunch or dinner. Cottage was clean, with a view on ocean. We were almost alone there. It is possible to pay by eur or dobra. Maria also arranged tacxi for the airport."

"The owner was very nice. He made sure that we’re ok and even offered us some food and wine because he was worried that we were hungry😁 It’s good place to stay if you’re interested more in exploring the city and looking for accommodation just to sleep and rest. Nothing more nothing less."

Choose this place only if you have car or love to hike. Unfortunately, we didn’t check and it turned out that to come to this place you need to go up all the time, which is like 3 km. We didn’t have car so we walk there. Of course it’s just our oversight, but i wish it would be written in the description. Nevertheless the views were stunning.

We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.
