"Nice and clean place with old charm. Rooftop terrace was a good place to enjoy beers and cigars. Location is very good just on the gates of centro historico. No bugs in room."

"Everything was good. I stayed here once before and only had a small boxy room with no window and single bed. This time I had a larger room with a window and double bed. Shower was hot with good pressure."

"If you're on a tight budget, this place can't be beat. It's more of a mid-range hotel, but at a super budget price.. clean, well lit lobby, nice room, nice towels, clean bathroom, hot shower, great water pressure. Samuel at reception was very helpful and spoke some English. For $23 bucks I was surprised and it will definitely be my first option when I need place to crash for a night or 2 while enjoying the Colonial Zone, my favorite part of Santo Domingo."

"There is only one magnetron on the third floor, in the kitchen where they prepare breakfast. This kitchen is mostly open in the morning during breakfast time. It would be a splendid idea to put one more at front desk so personal and guests can also heat up there food, no need to go to third floor etc etc"

"Central location to go everywhere, we had a room with inner view, no street facing, which made it very quiet. We had a cold water dispenser just outside the room which was very useful and convenient. A/C worked very good, there's also a ceiling fan which was more than enough to cool the room down, so we did not see the need to use the A/C. Sunset view from the terrace was simply amazing, you can just get your own drink and sit peacefully there. We paid with debit card, ask for the amount to be taken in either DOP or USD as per your convenience. Do not pay in USD cash, they would change it to DOP to their convenience."
