The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and a peaceful environment, perfect for relaxing after visiting the rock-hewn churches. The location is also very convenient, close to the main attractions. Got invited twice for breakfast and dinner by the owner, Ephrem took me on a for-free tour and dinner and is a great, very knowledgeable tour guide that always offered to help and the rest of the staff was also extremely friendly in responding to any request- I travel a lot, but the service level and effort was truly outstading! The hotel is also well located, with beautiful views from the upper floors/balconies. I was also very happy with the room, nice bed, good, warm shower and good internet. Very good value for money and truly exceptional due to the family-feeling atmosphere! Will definitely stay here again next time and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Axum :)"
