If you want to experience the atmosphere of a medieval destination in Alsace, it's a superb choice. Moreover, the living room boasts large windows overlooking the cathedral on the one side, really helps to preserve the spirit, at the same time soundproofing, as it can get a bit noisy from all the wandering tourists on the streets. On the other hand, while still preserving Alsacian architecture, the kitchen has modern amenities, the bathroom, a rainfall shower, my wife really enjoyed that one! :-) You also have a small balcony accessible through the bedroom. Bed and pillows are super comfy. As for proximity to restaurants, gift shops, they're a stone-throw away. A supermarket and pharmacy are 10 minutes away, slow walk on foot."
