"The setting is idyllic and the renovation of this historic building has been undertaken with real expertise. The ceilings have been hand-painted to recreate turn of the century atmosphere, and then blended with modern light fittings and pared-down rustic textures. We also appreciated the latest technology, like phone charging-points in the bedrooms and digitalised air-conditioning. The best of old and new!"
