"Such a pretty and historic location. Clean and charming room. The hosts were lovely too! The bistro up the hill was excellent with an amazing view but it does close early."

"First, the hosts were delightful and very accommodating and helpful. They allowed us to check in a little early and made several phone calls for us to check on the availability of local restaurants. The room was comfortable and included a little sofa where one could sit and read. The breakfast was great. Although it was too cold to enjoy it during our stay, the garden looked very appealing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there."

Des conseils précieux pour le dîner, bon de réduction (50%!) pour l'entrée du site d'Alésia, des petits bonbons locaux ... un grand merci pour tout!"

"Très bel endroit, avec une vue fabuleuse sur Flavigny. Les hôtes étaient très agréables, nous avons passé u très bon moment. La chambre est très jolie, et le petit déjeuner était superbe, à l'extérieur avec uniquement des produits locaux !"

"We used this for World Cup rugby due to shortage of accommodation in St Etienne and it was perfect. Lovely countryside in an area where the Loire is dammed to create reservoirs. Although breakfast not included the owners had left some basics in the kitchen."

"The space, comfort, calm, very clean, good bed, linen and towels provided. Bright, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Loved the view of the gardens from the windows. About 1km walk to the boulangerie and centre of St Valery. A good collection of books and games. Little desk and chairs for children. Various documentation and maps on the area, including discount tickets to Marquenterre, Maison de la Somme and other places."
