"Friendly, communicative host, convenient location off the motorway, and handy for Leclerc (cheap petrol for the next leg of the journey). Really calm, peaceful location with a big garden, and you felt as though you were in the country though it is a suburban area, with easy on-street parking. Stylish bathroom, handy kitchenette. NB I was in fact allocated Le Presbytère, although I had booked Le Grenier, so my review relates to the ground floor accommodation. I found the bed very comfortable and I'm surprised that one or two people have said it wasn't, though this is obviously a personal matter. I would describe it as supportive but crucially not too firm, which is important when you have a bad back, and I invariably find the mattresses in chain hotels too hard. I will definitely try to book either accommodation again!"

"I am not certain about this, but I don't think the door to my accommodation locked. I don't personally worry about people stealing my stuff, but it might matter to someone with expensive belongings. It did occur to me that if the people in Le Grenier were noisy it would definitely have affected the calm atmosphere overall, so it is a bit hit and miss who you get as your fellow guests."

"The little studio attic with a stunning view was a gem of a place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, functional and well located. Sophie and her husband are very kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating, and I had a wonderful stay."
