"Beautiful property with warm and charming host. We had a truly memorable stay and would go back in a heartbeat"
"Nothing. Everything was exceptional"
"Marie was so lovely and met us at the door when we arrived. The property is beautiful, and we had a lovely spacious comfy ensuite room. Marie served a lovely breakfast of bread and pastries in the morning. We also got to meet her sweet dog :) Would definitely recommend staying here in the stunning village of Montsoreau. Do a walk around the village (and neighbouring Candes St Martin) as it’s very beautiful. Also would recommend eating at Le Montsorelli which is a 3 min walk from the property. Great food and service!"

"Fantastic property and location. Delightful and very helpful owner. Very comfortable bed. Lovely fresh breakfast. Great experience from start to finish"

"The breakfast was excellent and the location was great (quite literally opposite the Loire River which was 20m away) and parking was easy - right across the road and next to the river. The town (actually large, medieval village, set on the hillside overlooking the Loire River) is just beautiful."
"The shower was not quite working properly (Marie - the owner - had warned us as she showed us around the apartment); I know that she was 'désole' about this and will put it right, but honesty demands that I mention it."
"We received a very warm welcome. The room was very comfortable and we had a good breakfast. The location is excellent; next to la Loire and ideal for travelling to nearby historic sites, the fortress at Chinon for example. We would stay again . Highly recommended."

"The host was lovely and attentive. Location couldn’t be closer to to river. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely in the main dining area. The local area is quiet and a short walk to a wine shop and cafe/bar."
"Not a lot nearby apart from a museum of modern art and an expensive restaurant so be prepared with your own food and drink."
"The beautiful young woman behind the reception desk - what a smile. The room was comfortable and the location right on the water."
"It was a perfect stay."
"Lovely couple hosted us - so helpful! Lots of advice for us. Superb rooms and a beautiful breakfast."
"We had to travel into Saumur for our evening meal - it was a Monday and the local restaurants were closed, but that is not a reflection of our enjoyment of our stay."

"As I was working locally for nearly 3 weeks, i looked for a hotel with a good location, I chose this hotel from the reviews and I was disappointed, the room was very nice, clean, good size, food was good, staff were friendly and helpful"

"Het huis was erg ruim, met genoeg plaats voor iedereen. Comfortabele bedden, mooie tuin, heerlijke jacuzzi met uitzicht op de Mont Blanc."
"La localisation est parfaite, logement très propre et très bien équipé. Immeuble calme. Tous commerces à proximité."
"La Jourdane is a beautiful property that is clearly loved. The owners went above and beyond in their care, not to mention excellent breakfast every day, all home made. The accommodation was spotless and situated in very pretty surroundings. The bonus is definitely the pool area, the extra lounge/breakfast area and table tennis room- all unexpected."

"Une maison très propre et très bien équipée, avec une vue à couper le souffle sur le golfe de Porto .tout était parfait pour un séjour en famille de deux semaines. Cette adresse est vraiment à recommander. Avis unanime."
