"Fantastic location, right in the heart of the village of books - the room even looked out on to the bookshop. The owner was delightful - welcoming and relaxed. Parking was free anywhere in the village, just a short walk from the accommodation. Loved the spacious room with its wooden floors, the writing desk and the armchairs for cosy reading. Great shower too - and a little fridge which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend."

"Really unique room, with a fire place. The owner was extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we could need or wanted. It was cold, and the fire was warmed up when we got there, were given extra blankets, and even some wine upon arrival!"

"A lovely large space, beautifully renovated located in the centre. Very comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a fabulous shower. Good lighting and sufficient plugs which is always welcome. Rob is a friendly, welcoming host and also his bookshop at nearby location is only one with plenty of English language books."

"Un lieu paisible qui est plus dans l'ambiance et la simplicité que dans le luxe. Montolieu est un village du livre, des bouquinistes et des artistes et c'est donc cette atmosphère qui n'a rien de surfaite que vous trouverez. Rob, le propriétaire, est un homme chaleureux, alors n'hésitez pas à parler avec lui de livres, de littérature et même de musique dans sa librairie."
