"A very relaxing holiday experience in a charming Gite. Friendly hosts pointed us to some fun activities in the surrounding area. We loved canoeing down the Lot, cycling down the country lanes and visiting some oldy worldly towns. The welcome from the hosts made you feel at home and the shared garden and pool was great fun."

"The apartment was spacious and homely, and made a great base to explore the area. We travelled with a 2-year-old, so it was very useful to have a cot and also some picture books on the bookshelf to look through with her. The apartment is on one level, which was also helpful with a toddler. Fabrice was very helpful, and gave some useful advice about the local restaurants and shops. The location was very quiet, but close to the old town and also walkable from either train station in Boulogne."

"The accommodation at L'Escapade Lochoise was first class in every way: it was a joy to arrive and be able to relax after a long and busy day. The room was clean, bright, comfortable and welcoming, and we really appreciated being able to take things at our own pace, and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before our departure the following morning. The bed is very comfortable, and the en-suite shower-room and toilet was perfect for our needs. The provisions for breakfast were generous and varied, and we especially appreciated the bowl of fresh fruit. The proprietor had thought of everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible."
