"The beach location was superb with good amounts of loungers to view the ocean and access to the beach was great allow for privacy and protection from those on the beach without obstructing views of the beach. The various locations to sit around the 2 pools were above what is normal provided at other properties. The staff across the whole hotel were exceptional, professional and helpful. The beach front restaurant had a great variety of locations to sit, drink and eat, from lunch to dinner time, with menu choices and prices comparable to lots of other Watamu restaurants. Beautiful lush gardens are well maintained and the paths through the compound give a relaxed and tropical feel. All in all a great hotel to stay at for the price, location and facilities."

"The breakfast whilst the quality was not bad, it was limited in variety and quantity based on other properties in the same price point. Whilst parking is offered, there is no onsite parking at all. It is noted that the hotel does have helpful security staff outside the compound on the public beach access road, assisting guests to find parking spots."

"The stupid towel rule, couldn't figure out what that's good for, breakfast service is a bit slow even if nobody is there. It's nice to have a fridge but it's too loud."

"There are many highlights to mention: the resort premises are very beautiful and well maintained, the pool areas, the garden the spaces to chill. The view to Garoda beach is incredible. The food in the restaurant is very good, a lot of people come just to go to the restaurant. The breakfast is buffet with a lot of good options and variety. The staff is really friendly and helpful."

"What I really didn’t like is that they only provide 2 small bottles of water per day per room. And they charge 300KES per bottle of water, which is very expensive, considering you should use mineral water even to brush your teeth. That’s not very 5-star hotel experience… The restaurant is a bit on the pricey-side compared to other very good restaurants around."
