"I chose on location to be near Yonsei U and budget. I did not expect much and had read the reviews. I can see why some would score less than 7, as standards are not great inside and outside room. However, the room was mainly clean, plenty of toilet roll and soap and towels. The electricity worked. The bed sheets though ripped a bit were clean. The bed though very basic gave a godd night of sleep. The sole staff member was very courteous. Don't expect luxury but do expect basic accommodation exactly in line with very low price. Happy to stay here again. The location was perfect for me."

"Excellent location on a hill, just a real 5‑minute walk from Sinchon Station. The staff confirmed my address in advance and left the keys for me. The price is very good for Seoul. There’s a 24-hour convenience store and lots of small restaurants nearby."

"Tiny, run‑down room with a single power outlet in the corner. The air conditioner doesn’t work. You have to wait about 5 minutes for warm water, and even then it only trickles. The shower drain goes straight onto the floor, so everything ends up wet. There is no kitchen, fridge, kettle, or common lounge in the hostel – only a water dispenser, which is the sole useful amenity. In a week there wasn’t a single room cleaning; you have to change towels and take out the trash yourself. The coat hooks on the walls are ripped out and nobody seems willing to fix them."

"The location is very close to the train station, surrounded by bustling streets, with many places to eat and shop, and the prices are reasonable."

"The location was really good, it was relatively close by to the subway entrance and bus stops. It's near to many restaurants and places to shop. Amenities like towels, water dispenser and instant coffee were available in the lobby room. It was a simple process to check in and out."
