"Very simple accomodation with a bedroom, bathroom and terrace ... actually all that you need on this beautiful place. Restaurants and bike/motorcycle rent companies are next to the accommodation on the road leading to the pier, so you can focus only on your rest and enjoyment. If you are staying longer and need to do a laundry - accommodation has this option as well. Don Det in general is quite a calm, easy going spot, with a couple of bars and restaurants, but no hard style party scene. You come here to enjoy in doing nothing. :)"

"Bungalow that I was given, although it had a hammock, the latter had some malfunctions (uneven) and it was not possible to rest in it as it is meant. So I had to improvise. Maybe it would not be bad if they could replace it with the same style hammock like it is in other bungalows."

"Staff was very nice. They helped me repair my torn bag, rented bikes ( and scooters), gave good advice and helped book my onward bus. The location is amazing, surrounded by high end guest houses ,and everything you could want within walking distance.. I had one of the bungalows which backed onto a grass field and a couple of mornings I was wakened by cow bells and moos, nice way to start the day! The cats are nice and there are lots of friendly dogs on the street waiting to be scratched. Everything about the room was perfect. Spent most sunsets at the Hathim Indian Restaurant, yummy."

"The location is just a few minutes away from the pier by foot. The size of the room was nice."

"A few times even when it was not raining our room had lost power whilst others did not. I noticed that it was mostly when taking a shower, not sure if there’s a link with that. The receptionist was unable to speak any English so we were not able to ask any questions. When doing the check in, she had to call her sister who was able to speak English to explain everything to us."

"Great location, only a few minutes walk from the ferry port and close to main restaurants/bars. Bungalow was peaceful and quiet, and fan worked well with mosquito net available. Bikes available to hire for 25k kip."

"Gaps in the walls and flooring so expect bugs, there were ants in the bathroom. Mosquito net had some holes in it."

"Basic room with mosquito net, the shower sprayed everywhere a bit and there were a few ants. However, the location was perfect right near the pier and easy accessible to walk around either side of the island as well as near lots of shops and restaurants. I loved the balcony with the hammock and spent many relaxing hours on here as it was so peaceful! I definitely recommend this lovely place!"

"The place has a really good location it's only a 3 minute walk from the pier that you arrive to, and there are plenty of restaurants only a short walk away. The air con in the room works very well, and there's also a fan. The staff running the property are very nice and can help with sorting any onwards, travel, or renting bicycles."

"Stayed at this property for 3 nights while in Don Det. This accommodation is in the perfect location, only a few minutes walk from where you get off the boat and is close to loads of restaurants. We rented a bike from the guesthouse for 30,000 kip for the full day and went to neighbouring islands. Staff were really helpful."

"We stayed in a bungalow which had a lot of gaps in walls which let in bugs, however we did have a mosquito net which was good. Also had a problem with the water going off one day which was quickly resolved."
