"It's just off the main road but feels secluded The bedroom was comfortable and spacious with bathroom and loo attached. Quiet AC. Owner and family all charming and helpful We ate good Sri Lankan curry and rice in their house and a lovely breakfast of string hoppers and sweet hoppers eggs and Dal. And mangoes and bananas from their own garden. Delicious! They are currently building a swimming pool outside the chalet bedrooms so the view not great currently but will be excellent once pool is finished and landscaped"

"The host and his wife were so nice and friendly! They are really wonderful people :) As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a fresh coconut to drink. The bed was nicely decorated and everything was super clean. The location is soo BEAUTIFUL! It's peaceful and quiet, so you can definitely relax and feel safe. Also, the breakfast was really delicious too, would recommend! It's a bit far from town, but you can get a TukTuk or lend bicycles for a small price. But the town is not that interesting, so we didn't mind being a bit far away. Luckily, there's a small shop, you can reach within 5 minutes on foot. It has everything you need. We loved staying here and the staff helped with everything and made sure, we're satisfied. Thank you so much!"

"We didn't mind but if you're scared of frogs, please be aware that tiny frogs can get lost in your toilet or sink. They look really cute though! And they will not harm you. But if you have a problem with that, I am really sure, that the staff will do something about that:)"

"Lovely home stay. We stayed in a room without AC and it was totally fine as it had been built with consideration of its surroundings. Bathroom good size and properly made for a wet floor so you don’t slip. Shower was great. Slept well. Owner and his family were really hospitable. They arranged Turk Tuk, taxis and helped us with bus too giving really helpful advice. The breakfasts were generous and excellent. Reminded me of my own family’s cooking - this is proper food. We had dinner there every night too and highly recommend it, there was so much and we were stuffed and happy. The area is very tranquil, there are mosis at night but that’s the region and just take some repellent with you."

"Set amidst a small paddy field, facility is surrounded by a large garden space with a mix of fruit bearing and coconut trees. Entire family was very welcoming and their two kids were full of smiles. Their breakfast was quite filling ... my visit to Sigriya was made easy with their own TukTuk and that saved me a lot of trouble arranging the transport. On the last day of my stay, I changed plans to make a day trip to Poloannuruwa, so left my entire baggage in the stay and collected them in the evening. In fact, the hosts were kind enough to accommodate me in their small Maruti car and dropped me near the Habarana junction. After a long tiring day, this was very very helpful. The facility is quite walkable from the main road coming from Dambulla but at the same time noise from the perpetual traffic is very minimal due to its location."

"The host was the kindest, most hospitable human being I've ever met. Him and his daughter greeted me with fresh coconut right from arrival. The lawn to the room is spectacular, clean rooms to stay in, with big bathrooms just add to it. At night, you can see fireflies right outside your room with nothing but the sound of nature. The family is extremely welcoming with delicious food -- they'll make you feel like you're a part of their family. Highly recommend if you want to experience the true hospitality of Srilanka!"
