"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. There is warmer installed under the wooden flooring so it is very comfortable to sleep on during winter. Our stay became more interesting in the morning when the host enthusiastically prepared us a tableful of breakfast. She prepared costumes for the children and initiated to take photos for us within the house and at the beautiful yard."

I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

"Incredibly stay! The photos don’t show how beautiful the grounds are. Super recommend the tents and wandering down to the beach clubs in the area for beers and a swim. All of the staff were amazing at helping us organise everything and the food was delicious - special shout out to Brigitte for making our stay extra special, even letting us come into the kitchen so we could learn how to make African tea - we miss you Brigitte!!!"

"Perfect location, next to ski slope. Amazing place for skiers/ snowboarders, however you can reach it only directly from slope (but it makes stay even better) we could leave backpakcs at reception, and ski until checking. Stuff is very friendly and helpful."

Staff very helpful and food good value for hotel facilities. Ample breakfast included too. They offer excursions but we did not try due to lack of time. Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.
