"The AC was a bit on the noisy side. Not a fail of the property, but: Le Morne beach was visually nice, but not really usable for swimming/snorkeling (the currents were too strong)."

"The apartment was really spacious. Also we've got a warm welcome. The location of the apartment is perfect, within walking distance of a super market and a few restaurants. There is lots of sightseeing to do in the area. The apartment felt really clean. The balcony is big with comfortable chairs. The bed was also really really really comfortable."

"Studio with a wonderful view of the mountain. Well-equipped kitchen. The host takes care of his guests. Cleaning and changing of bed linen and towels every 3 days. I will definitely come back!"

"Amazing host, he even helped me organize a small surprise for my wife upon arrival and was available at all times for anything we needed. We were even welcomed with some local snacks - amazing touch! He even gave us a couple of passion fruits from the garden when we were leaving! The apartment is brand new, very spacious and comfortable, the balcony is big and really great for enjoying breakfast or the sunset with a glass of good wine. Le Morne is very close by car and the whole area is the best part of Mauritius."

"The kitchen utensils could be a bit improved. Especially the knife - it was very hard cutting through anything:) Apart from that nothing really. Please note you really need a car if you're staying in La Gaulette if you want to experience the maximum of the Southwest."
