My son suffers from a severe egg allergy, and Ms. Birtt was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, especially during breakfast, ensuring his safety and comfort at all times. "Brief one night stay on a road trip; my third stay in a prison hotel (two in UK) and it matches those I have stayed in in Oxford and Bodmin. Great comfy room, seating area, comfy bed, good shower. Breakfast was good. Parking was secure at 10 euros per night. Roermond Designer Outlet was 10 minutes by foot, the city itself was also pleasant and attractive."

"A hotel with an interesting concept, very clean, the room was nice with enough light, coffee machine, delicious breakfast. The staff is very friendly, accommodating all your needs. There is a parking as well. Excellent location."

"Given the fact, it is a five star hotel, providing slippers and a bottle of water would have been a nice touch."

"Very nice hotel close to the city centre of Roermond. The hotel used to be the local prison, which was rebuild into a hotel. They did a very nice job in respecting the old building. The rooms are build in and divided over multiple "old" cells. Clean and large rooms with a good bed, bathroom and work area. Friendly staff. The restaurant is supposed to be very good but it was completely booked for the evening. Bar is good and a nice outside sitting area. Did not use the breakfast. Parking next to the hotel."

"The hotel is really interesting as a design. the rooms are very clean and nice, although the heating was not working. The hotel staff was very nice and provided a heater in my room to help warm up the room."

"Unfortunately, i had to wait for 25min + for coffee and the breakfast choice I ordered. The breakfast area was not busy but somehow my order did not register with any of the two ladies serving in the breakfast area."
