"Det er et intimt og hyggelig hotell, ikke til å sammenligne med storbyhoteller, men enkelt og veldig hyggelig. Hun som betjener både resepsjon, kjøkken, resturant mm er en utrolig hyggelig person, genuint opptatt av at oppholdet skal være bra :-) Det er enkel frokost som er ferdigsmurt og enkel å ta med om man ikke har tid til å spise den på stedet."

"Ingenting å klage på egentlig. Men har tre forbedringsforslag med hensyn til badet: 1) Dere bør montere hylle til toalettsaker, toalettmappe osv. Dumt å ha det på doskåla eller gulvet. 2) Dusjforheng bør passe til dusjen for å unngå unødig vannsøl. 3) Vannkranene på vasken var vanskelige å bruke pga at de var separat varmt- og kaldtvann. De var også tunge å åpne og lukke. Mennesker med artrose vil ha store vanskeligheter med å bruke kranene. Og designet gjorde det nesten umulig å skru på kranene med såpe på fingrene. Ellers var det et flott bad, med praktisk " løs" hånddusj. Virket nyoppusset 🙂"

"The location was great - a very short walk into town and fab for exploring the local area by car. It was also good to stay in a Norwegian property. "It was amazing, a historic house fully renovated and overwhelming comfy in the Norwegian "nowhere" with hosts who really care of their guests, prepared many lovingly things and information. Our stay was way too short to try hikes in the wood or using the raw boat. This is an absoluty "yes, anytime again"!"

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."
