"I really enjoyed my stay at Fare Om, I wish it was longer! Initially I was supposed to stay in a chalet but they upgraded me to a double room with private bathroom, it had mosquito net around the bed so I slept like a baby. The owners are really nice people, there are bicycles you can borrow (for free), they even have handmade souvenirs like fridge magnets, bracelets, necklaces etc. Wifi was good and stable, couple of folks were working remotely in the house so it should be good for nomads."

"The vibe of the hostel was nice, lots of people from different parts of the world. The wifi worked pretty well and the bathrooms were clean and pretty comfortable to use."

"The location was a little out of the way if you don't have a car. We stayed in a chalet and the space was pretty small, but ok for just a few days."

"The place was really nice and welcoming. Loved our bedroom with a big and comfortable bed, clean house, refrigerator for storing food, kitchen to cook, a lot of space both inside and outside to stay and relax. It was simple and perfect for us."

"Toilet seats would have been nice. The very short, but kind of bad dirt road getting there made it seem long."

"It was more then I could ever expected. I was welcomed in the morning far earlier then check-in time, as I was tired I was allowed to check-in early. Not only the place is SUPER NICE, clean, you have all the facilities - a kitchen, a washing machine, lots of books and free mangoes dropping from the tree but the people are super nice! They are like a family, which you are going to be a part of if you decide to stay there. They made me feel welcomed and safe. This was the best decision I could make to stay there. Thank you for all!"

"My stay at the Fare Om was lovely. The staff was kind, everything was clean and I appreciated to experience the authentic and chill polynesian style. Maud is a very kind host, she offered me a drive when I needed and she remembered for small staff even how I'm drinking my coffee:) This hostel definitely worth of money!"

"Fare Om has a welcoming calm atmosphere.. large lounge and open plan kitchen. The staff are lovely & helpful. I think it's really good value for money & would stay again if I ever come back to Mo'orea. Just one thing not related to Fare Om but be careful as a female solo traveller.. I got harassed by some men a few times mainly around Cooks Bay area. Opunohu Bay is much nicer and I felt safer there. Anyway, the meals Maud prepares if you order them are delicious and great value. Mauruuru roa!"

"Good location for hiking (close to the trailhead for Rōtui and not too difficult to walk the Caldera de Moorea Loop track from here). Very friendly staff and the meals they offer are well-balanced, nutritious and very delicious."

"There was one indoor bathroom and two outdoor bathrooms, however the outdoor bathrooms didn’t seem to get hot water for the showers and the toilets didn’t have toilet seats, so everyone would use the one indoor bathroom. Also, the kitchen doesn’t have a microwave."
