"Good location just outside the center, taking a bus to the island is easy. We could store our bicycles inside the house. The rooms are very big, the beds have mosquito nets, the rooms have A/C, the wifi was good and the employees are friendly and helpful. For breakfast it was jam, chocolate spread and real coffee."

"The room was very nice, clear spacious and comfortable, I like that it had a balcony. Breakfast was fresh and enough to gain energy for the day. The best was that I received help with getting a SIM card and finding a bus to my next destination. Thank you!"

"I loved everything, the rooms are super spacefull with their private bathroom also quite big. It has all the amenities needed, bed is confortable and the common spaces are very pretty, colourful and clean. The host is very lovely and helpful. Location is great because is on a less touristic, less busy area but still close to the center of st. Louis."

"We were very satisfied with Chez Sofia. A beautiful house with a lovely view that also radiates warmth and coziness. Spacious, attractive room. Great location. Friendly owner, and the breakfast was definitely good. In terms of value for money, this was an excellent stay! Highly recommended."

"Chez Sofia is a great place to meet other travelers. The rooms are really big. We had a microwave and a fridge in our room. The outdoor seating areas are lovely. It's a bit away from the island but it's so easy to get there by bus. We were so lucky that the owner was there because he is a really lovely, kind man. He made us food and organised a lift to the bus station."

Mounte and Mamadou were so warm and hospitable, and the place itself is a tranquil escape from the busy streets of central Saint Louis (which is still easily accessible by taxi or bus). The kitchen facilities are great and the rooms are clean. We will definitely be returning... we fell in love with the pace of Chez Sofia life!"

"5 km away from Saint Louis island. Must handle with taxis (shared 500 XOF individual 1000 XOF) and explain taxi driver the location Toilet flush not working , only the water tap for cleaning your a.... Pillow a bit hard"
