"Amazing location! Located right in the middle of the Jiufen old street just a short straight walk from the bus stop. Unfortunately it was raining very heavily during our stay but the room was very cosy and made passing the rain much. quicker haha. There were English channels on the TV and a dehumidifier as well so the room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was also good with free flow braised meat rice and a set of toast with ham and egg. They also provided welcome drink and meal vouchers where we could choose any drink on the menu for free!"
"The meal vouchers only covered the main courses so we couldn't use it on our dessert but the dessert was worth it!"
"Location is perfect, in the middle section of the Juifen old street. Not affected by the bustling and noise from the streets when in the room. The cafe is very retro feel. Room is clean, staffs are friendly. Our room is on the 4th floor and is by stairs to go up and down. So got to pack light."

"We had one of the balcony rooms, it was worth the extra to have the amazing views from your bed and be able to sit out on the balcony with a view as good as in the popular restaurants to end the evening. The restaurant also has a nice bay window area overlooking the narrow street"
"The main dislike, was you have to pay in cash on arrival or arrange a bank transfer in advance. Bath/shower old and dated. There’s a guy selling flutes at a shop outside, he plays a couple of songs on them to attract tourists, so between the hours of around 9am to 9pm you’ll hear the same few songs performed on repeat. Not the hotels fault though."

"No elevator—can be challenging with heavy luggage. We however went with a single backpack and was good with the steps. Payment is cash-only, so plan ahead."
