There was no parking available at our arrival. We didn't knew it needed to be reserved in advance. But very helpful staff helped resolve this small problem pretty fast.

"Good location allowing trips to different parts of Ohrid lake, and the national park. Spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, balcony and living room and with a kitchen that we used once. The view from the living room is fantastic, and so is the swimming pool view. Open area for seating is also nice. They also gave us some wine and toasties for kids gratis once so was quite nice. Parking is easy, lake in front and a mini market close by. They don’t serve breakfast or dinner but there is a nice pizzeria close by and a couple of other restaurants that we tried. Breakfast ok - changes a bit. Good tips by the staff when requested."

The air con is in the living room so it can get hot in the bedroom during the day. A fan was provided on request.

"Had an Great stay at Casa Karibu. The house was clean and had amazing views. Daily house cleaning staff was a pleasure to be around. Planning activities was a breeze and Laurie was always a text away to assist."

Pool not heated, so a bit bracing when we took a dip. It was mid-November though.

"The room was large and spacious. Very comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. A seating area was a welcome extra. Breakfast was excellent -with a glass of Istenic sparkling! The garden attached to the winery is a really peaceful setting for a morning’s (or more) relaxation over coffee and more sparkling wine. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Thank you to them."

Only downside is the location that means restaurants are a short drive away - even the closest (about 1km) is a drive because of the fast narrow road without pavement. The main town of Brezice is worth visiting though for its restaurants, cafes, castle and water tower.

Just like everywhere in Faroese Islands its a bit pricy, but still reasonable compared to other options.

"Roomy villa. Cleaners came in twice a week which was an unexpected bonus. Pool is lovely. Villa in quiet neighbourhood."

Kitchen wasn’t particularly well equipped. No chopping board. Not enough cutlery

"Its a quite place. All of their staffs are too nice and helpful. The resort is just walking distance from the town centre or the ski. There was an unexpected party during of of our dinner which elevated our experience to the next level. Overall it was really good place and we were all happy."

The 3rd bedroom is a small room just enough to place a single bed. There was only one common bathroom for a 2.5 bed cottage which was quite frustrating.
