"The remoteness and quirkiness of the building. Had areas of sun and shade plus a pool! Fantastic hospitality from Jesse and Don. Beautiful breakfasts and lots to do within a 45 minute drive. And Jesse went out of her way to make us a packed breakfast as we were leaving early to do a local tour."

The property was sited in the most beautiful private wooded location and Jessie’s cooking was amazing. Thankyou both. I was a little sad to have left yesterday. Don and Jessie were just lovely."

"What a hidden gem! Such a beautiful property so secluded with gorgeous scenic views, interesting decor, and one of the most amazing three course breakfasts I've ever experienced. A true "bed and breakfast" is a lost art and these two have kept that alive and well in this wonderful property! If you are looking for some rest and relaxation and to just unwind then this is the place. I am hopeful that I will be back again!"

The owners were out of town , Pat was there to welcome us warmly and share information and recommendations. Thank you Pat!! Our daughter fell in love with sasha their dog! "Expect a soft bed, personally we are used to a much firmer mattress. But the sheets are the softest sheets we've ever slept on!!!"

"Everything was perfect . The location was stunning and the hosts were so friendly and helpful . It unfortunately rained for most of our stay but that didn’t spoil the whole Algonquin experience . Last but by no means least the breakfast was superb . I will definitely recommend Stouffermill"
