The bathroom is downstairs, bedroom upstairs, so not great overnight if you need to use it

"The rooms were very clean. The lady that runs the hotel does a great job at making herself available for whatever we might need. The rooms were a little cold, but they warm up quickly. The breakfast area is cozy and has everything needed. It was a quiet stay as its on the edge of town. I think it's the best deal in drayton valley."

The photos of the rooms are quite misleading unfortunately and don’t depict how small the space actually is, I booked a room to fit 3 adults - knowing it had a king bed and sofa bed as described (which in the pictures look like there is plenty of space and they are separate from each other), however, the sofa bed is not fit for an adult, and once folded out, there was only just enough room to get around it and the main bed. I went to just ask at the front desk if there was any other options of rooms we could move to, but it was then I was told that this particular room (and only a handful of others) is rented out by a third party and unfortunately they weren’t able to assist, and advised that all that could be done was to try and contact the owner through Booking.com. I contacted the person managing the listing of this property to ask the same question and was told there was nothing else available, which is totally understandable, however it was then implied in their response that I ‘must’ve known what I was booking’, which I thought I did but advised of the misleading photos not depicting what had been booked.

Experienced noise problems from other guests, both the room next door and young teens in the hallways late at night. Reception was very apologetic. Breakfast is very repetitive. Plastic cutlery & paper plates still being used.

"Quite neighborhood. Appreciate the amenities and coffee machine. Kettle. Owner very helpful. Great coffee shop 4 minutes from location, and the 4 corners restaurant for breakfast is a retro."

This place has the potential to be a nice place...however, Walking into the main entrance of the house, the porch is a bit cluttered with stuff, so it's not tidy. And inside the main lobby, there's a slight odor from cooking, perhaps?? Sadly, the mattress was worn as it dipped in the middle. It was difficult to sleep comfortably. Also, they could use a bug screen in the washroom window. Not very soundproof rooms, so for the price, it was a bit steep. It is a 13-minute walk downhill to all the major restaurants.
