"Extremely helpful and friendly staff, enthusiastic greeting on arrival and asking to help with bags. Location excellent for the city centre, just a short walk from The Oracle and Riverside. Very reasonable prices for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed with nice white sheets. Yorkshire Teabags in room a welcoming touch. Can't comment on breakfast as haven't partaken, but have stayed here several times and it's always done the job nicely. Staff are open about the fact they have music in the bar until late at the weekend so you know that's how it will be. It has never bothered me but might be worth taking earplugs if you are staying at the weekend and a light sleeper."

"The room was lovely, bright and away from the main road so there wasn't much noise,, the breakfast was ok, we came down a bit late so the eggs were quit dried out, but everything else was good. the location was great, we came off at Reading Station and the hotel was 2 mantes walk from the station, and the shopping area was right there, loads of places to eat. it was a great stay."

"The Lifts was very slow to come up and down, plus one was not working so there was always a que for the lifts. Also the Steam room was out of order, so that was a shame."
