"Die Lage ist Mega, alles in der Stadt kann zu Fuß erreicht werden. Auch mitten im Karneval fühlten wir uns jederzeit sicher und gut aufgehoben. Das Frühstück war ok und dem Preis angemessen."

"Wenn man mitten in der Stadt ein Zimmer hat ist es laut. Das war absolut ok für uns aber wer Ruhe sucht ist da fehl am Platz."

"The View is a boutique hotel set high on a cliff, just north of São Filipe. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, it is a wonderful place to stay as your base for exploring Fogo Island. It was built as a home, a mansion, really, but the owner decided to turn it into a hotel. The finishings are top-notch. The definite highlight for us was the kindness of Waldo, the manager of the property. He couldn’t do enough for us. His offers of assistance were genuine. We had decided not to drive up to the crater in our rental car because we thought the drive would be too difficult. But he shared details with us about the route, and in the end, we felt confident enough to tackle it, thanks to him. It turned out to be the highlight of our entire vacation to Cabo Verde. He has a gift for hospitality and his care of your stay will add a lot to your experience."

"The apartment is amazing! Has the best possible location in Santa Maria: right on the main street, from the balcony admiring all the main pedestrian areas and listening to high quality music from the bars around, until midnight. It is also very close to the beach and to any other important spot: shops, restaurants, bars, tours starting point etc. The owner is very friendly and ready to help with airport transfer, vehicle rent or tours around Sal island. It has a small well equipped kitchenette, a sofa and many amenities."

"Apartamento grande, bem localizado,, nim bairro calmo e tranquilo, com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. Eddy que nos recebeu foi de que ma simpatia extrema. Muito próximo de supermercados e restaurantes. A pé consegue-se chegar aos serviços, a praia de Kebra Canela está á distância de 10 minutos a pé. Recomendo vivamente."
