Nungwi has a problem with electricity. There is no energy for several hours every day. The guest house should have a generator.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"This property and the owners, are now our favorite in Martinique. We were welcomed after a long day of travel. The owners kindly left us fruit, coffee, juice and a baguette for breakfast with the local tasty guave jam. So thoughtful. The house provided good size rooms, very comfortable Caribbean chairs, nice large bed, and wonderful outdoor seating with lush greenery, meticulously cared for, outside. To sit and have coffee and watch hummingbirds and others, while we looked at many kinds of tropical flowers was a great experience daily. Everything we wanted and needed in the house was at our fingertips. So much Martinique charm! We highly recommend to anyone visiting Martinique. And a short drive to the beaches, Jardin Balata, and top things to see on the island."

"This is a lovely place to stay for anyone who is wanting a break from hotel/hostel life. Rodrigo and his wife are so welcoming and kind. Everything that you need is there (coffee, tea, cold water, a fully equipped kitchen), including information and a laundry service that is great value for money (possibly the best that I have had in my 5 weeks of travelling so far!). The location is perfect for León, I feel lucky to have booked this place."

"The owner was lovely. The room had a sea view and the balcony was equipped with chairs, table and umbrella to enjoy some sea breeze even on a sunny day. Good parking space by the house, which is located short distance away from the buzz of the city promenade. Price is very reasonable for the high level of comfort, cleanness and friendly attitude. Our stay was so pleasant that after unexpectedly coming back to Ulcinj couple days after our first stay, we chose this accommodation again."

"Very friendly and welcoming staff, everyone was so warm and kind. We extended our stay here as I was unwell and we asked for a lighter/quieter room. We were promptly moved to a lovely, large light room. Big clean bathroom and a really comfy cosy bed. The roof top here is brilliant, amazing views and super tasty food. The breakfast each morning was good, and different every day - always served with a smile. We extended our stay in the end for a week, and booked our trek with Basu at the hotel - which was organised perfectly. Overall really good value for money here, great location before a trek."

Downstairs lounge area was very dark, and had a small kitchenette attached. Place was convenient for US border, but far from downtown Vancouver."

Found the bedroom and entrance room dark and in the basement. It did not look at all like the photos.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. "There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

"My room was wonderful, airy, comfortable, clean with touches of local culture. Kevin was an excellent host, always cheerful, smiling, helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower was spacious. The verandas are perfect. It was a great opportunity to stay amidst the local indigenous culture."

"性價比非常高，在跨年連假每間飯店都誇張亂漲房價的時候，只有這間飯店提供合理的價格，真的很棒！ 房間跟陽台都非常大，隱密性也不錯，床雖然很軟但支撐性很高，睡得很好。 房間還有提供冷暖氣，風量很大也很強；浴室也很大，且水熱得速度很快，水壓也不錯，且淋浴間地板有止滑，很棒。 有很多停車位，附近也有很多好吃的餐廳，民宿外的草地區也讓人很放鬆。 沒有提供冰塊，但跟住宿方詢問就會提供，滿棒的，住宿還有提供飲水機甚至是電梯，很棒。 另外個人常常覺得住宿提供的肥皂太大塊，沒用完很浪費，此住宿提供的肥皂較小，比較環保，退房沒用完也不會心疼。"

櫃檯的右側有貼歡迎使用信用卡字樣，實際到現場卻無法刷卡只能付現，這點讓人不是很愉快。 C/I時間只到晚上九點，不確定九點過後是否還能入住，八點半左右就接到民宿方來電詢問是否要抵達了，讓人有壓力。 住宿本身非常安靜，但有遇到帶小孩的旅客小孩早上一直狂跑亂跳，也有遇到早上約七點開始使用鐵槌敲東西的聲音，雖然都被吵醒，但聲音都沒有持續很久。 另外個人覺得房內的沙發很硬。

"Large comfortable room. Good breakfast and dinners. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. In particular the brother of the manager who covered food, service and many other things. Along with another young man who did likewise, plus he did an excellent job of guiding us on a hike through Palm Gardens and Gorge Du Todra. When we were making our booking we enquired about access as we were planning a long trip with heavy luggage. We were told in advance that there is a steep path and stairs from the road but that we would have our luggage transfered for us by staff and Jack the donkey. On arrival and departure that was done by the staff and lovely healthy looking well cared for Jack. So our stay was overall very good."

The only things were the mounting bracket for the shower head in the bathroom faces the head straight out. No big problem for us as we just held it by hand. But some people may not be comfortable doing that and a new mounting bracket would be a good idea. The second thing was a leak from the pipe suppling the bathroom sink. Which meant that the bathroom floor away from the shower was wet and could be slippery. There was a floor blade left in the bathroom to use but the leak would not be a major job to fix so would be worth doing.

"We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"

"My stay at this guest house was absolutely fantastic! The host was excellent, very kind, and provided a lot of detailed advice before my trip, which was incredibly helpful. Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. When I travel to Tonga again, I will definitely choose to stay here! Highly recommend."
