Dumbea sur Mer is basically a boring suburb of McMansion houses and a shopping mall.

"Beautiful house and garden. Lot of trees. Nice pool. Room was comfortable. Back up generator for powercuts was great. Quiet area, close to the sea. Nice owner."

When arrive, bed sheets were used. We needed to change them ourselves. No cleaning servise. The mainhouse kitchen was only allowed for small cooking like eggs. If wanted to cook food, needed to go outside kitchen. There was no fan or pots, all needed to take there from main kitchen. Very unconvinient and hot to cook there. We were accused from staff and other customer stealing her mobile. Phone was found in her room where she had put it under her blanket. That really upset us. Owners were nice thou and apologize us.

Ce sont des personnes accueillantes, généreuses et authentiques, toujours prêtes à partager leur culture, les lieux à découvrir et la gastronomie locale. "Absolutely lovely host, allowed me to check in a bit earlier. Fair way from the city centre but easily connected with trams and buses which wasnt a problem. There was a shopping centre not too far away. Was very comfortable and clean and was able to sleep very well. Not too hot, not too cold. Also has a kitchen."

Honestly nothing to complain about. Entrance is in the alley way and up a spiral staircase.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

"Mama MIREKA highly recommend. She is such a beautiful host. House is immaculate yards are very tidy. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. The Guesthouse Is set in the middle of the beautiful and lush nature and close to everything and also with a bus stop just across from the property..

"The property has a very good location, you can ski to the center and to the foot of the mountain. It is very clean and spacious, we booked two apartments and we are very satisfied with them. Wifi is okay, it works nicely. There’s parking and kitchen and two bathrooms and a toilet in those two apartments."

The owner was with us at the house, and he wanted to help us with the snow around our cars, but we didn’t always feel comfortable around him. He was cheerful and kind man sometimes, but sometimes he made unnecessary comments which were not needed in this type of situation since we are the guests there.

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.
