Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. When I travel to Tonga again, I will definitely choose to stay here! Highly recommend."

"The property has a very good location, you can ski to the center and to the foot of the mountain. It is very clean and spacious, we booked two apartments and we are very satisfied with them. Wifi is okay, it works nicely. There’s parking and kitchen and two bathrooms and a toilet in those two apartments."

The owner was with us at the house, and he wanted to help us with the snow around our cars, but we didn’t always feel comfortable around him. He was cheerful and kind man sometimes, but sometimes he made unnecessary comments which were not needed in this type of situation since we are the guests there.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

"Beautiful house and garden. Lot of trees. Nice pool. Room was comfortable. Back up generator for powercuts was great. Quiet area, close to the sea. Nice owner."

When arrive, bed sheets were used. We needed to change them ourselves. No cleaning servise. The mainhouse kitchen was only allowed for small cooking like eggs. If wanted to cook food, needed to go outside kitchen. There was no fan or pots, all needed to take there from main kitchen. Very unconvinient and hot to cook there. We were accused from staff and other customer stealing her mobile. Phone was found in her room where she had put it under her blanket. That really upset us. Owners were nice thou and apologize us.

The host is lovely and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Facilities are great, and there is a washing machine you can use free of charge. Aircon works well."

The shower is cold, but it’s manageable because it’s so hot.

"Beautiful villa on countryside. Jerry is excellent host he is very generous and try to help with all guest needs. Not to forget co-host Sam he can bring you from the airport and take you anywhere around the island. Excellent service. House is well equipped and has it all. Room was specious and modern. Separate room where you can wash your clothes. About 25 mins walk to Dickenson bay/beach and 10 mins walk to closest supermarket. Highly recommended to stay especially for solo travelers"

Very hard bed and it was cold during my stay - there was heating in the room but not the bathroom.
