You need to be careful at the lower bunk - not much space between the bunks, everyone hits their head at least once.

All was Ok. If you don't like the heat, take an AC room as I did..

"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. My room had a really small window at 2 m hight so the room felt a bit claustrophobic. Also there was a construction site right next to the building which made quite some noise.

"The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

The walls were thin and it was far from the center.

"Everything’s was clean and staff was super friendly. I love that there is a sink and fridge in the room and slippers. they give you new towels everyday. Room is perfect for 1 person & to open 1 small 1 big suitcase. Unfortunately I couldn’t extend because it was fully booked."

"I like that its near the tram station and near the tourist site. Best of all, as a solo traveller, the one thing i like is that i feel safe around the area and the hostel itself. Would recommend to other solo female travelers."

"everything was super clean, the facilities were great, and there were plenty of sinks and bathrooms so you never had to wait for ages to get ready. the fact there is a sauna was an amazing bonus. beds super comfy with super fresh new white sheets - felt like I should've been paying way more. Location is great - most places in the city walkable within 30mins, and a five minute walk away from central station so really easy to use public transport"

Inside the cabins gets really hot during the day. Not a single spoon in the hole place to eat my soup. To enter the compound there's a very awkward padlock where you have to drop everything on the floor to open the door. Not good if the floor is wet or in the darkness of night
