"We had a very pleasant stay at Relax a Lodge. The place is amazing, surrounded by orange trees and a beautiful garden. The house was very comfortable and clean. The host was absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home :) We would definitely stay here again."

"Large plot of land attached to the lodge full of fruit trees, some chickens and a couple of pigs ( in pens, not roaming all over the place!) It is a shortish car ride to Kerikeri, Waitangi Treaty grounds, Paihia and ferry to Russel, probably too far to walk so a car is needed. The owner helpfully left my sister and husband park their camper van (so were self sufficient) for the duration of the stay and at no cost which was kind of him. It was season for oranges so we were offered them each day- they were lovely and sweet, thanks!"

"It's a nice place to relax, in a property amid a citrus grove. The oranges are very good. There is a swimming pool. At my asking, the owner came to pick me up at the bus stop and rwturn me there at the end of my stay. He drove me to the Rainbow Falls to permit me to walk the track until the city. There, I did hitchhiking for 3 km and walked the remainiing 2 km. Of course, it is better to go there with a car. The price is very good."

"It's 5 km from the city center and no city bus to go there. It can be a problem if you don't have a car. I took a chance because it is the least expansive place at Kerikeri but it is a very nice place. On the site of booking.com, it is written 3 km from the city center, but it is 5 km in fact."

"Clues is very friendly and accommodating, and very interesting to talk to. He is around if you need him but he leaves you to enjoy the property in peace if you don’t. A clear passion for sustainability and environmental care is evident. The kids loved the pool and feeding the pigs. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean."

"It was awesome that we could have our dog with us and could walk her in the orchard. She loved the kunekune. Staff were nice and helpful. As it had been raining, they allowed us to check in 1 1/2 hours earlier and we were able to watch Netflix. The very clean cottage was in a lovely orchard and the oranges were sweet to eat. My son loved the swimming pool and we were able to cook tea on the gas top stove and the small elecric oven. 10/10 for my family."
