"Incredibly kind owners! Talkative, always ready to help (lovely lady woke up at 4am and went with me to the street to make sure I was safe an made it to taxi). Breakfast are amazing and diverse and you’ll be full after them for sure. Location is convenient, close to everything. WiFi was super fast."

"Fantastic guesthouse right next to the old city centre. Room is spacious with an ensuite and plenty of storage. The hosts are very friendly, very helpful and make a fantastic breakfast that changes every day. I would highly recommend staying here."

"had an amazing time staying at Al Bashir guest house who is owned by a kind, old couple. the room was bigger than what i expected given the price. it was a bit cold during my stay as the heater was not working but the owner gave me extra blanket for warmth. good walking distance to the old town and plenty of restaurants in the area. if you´re looking for a budget accommodation in Bukhara, i highly recommend staying here!"

"Fantastic value. The location is great, short walk to the old town, and also newer part of town. Bashir and Uzumrud are such a lovely and genuine hosts. Despite language barrier, they always try to accommodate their guests needs. Breakfast is tasty, and wifi is good which allows me to work."

"Friendly uzbek couple run this tiny guest house. It's a simple and rustic affair but comfy and in a quiet lane. It's all I needed and very happy I stayed here. Breakfast typically uzbek. Fruit, bread, tea and eggs. I would stay here again. Google translate useful, as I speak no Russian, or uzbek. being English!!"

"We felt like home with Mr & Mrs Al-Bashir. They took care of us as we are part of the family, regardless the language barrier :) The room was cosy exactly as it was shown in the photos. Breakfast was a feast mashallah, very delicious and fresh. Also we could wash our clothes (additional fee) and it was very quick. My kids definitely want to come back again to Al-Bashir guest house."
