Realised dishes and cutlery were not very clean when we wanted to eat. Possibly, previous travellers are to blame for this

"As far removed from other tourists as you can get. Cheap and very backpacker. Friendly staff. You're practically living in a cambodian farm yard with fields on the doorstep."

No real complaints, just managing expectations. My room could have been be a little more finished. The guy is doing it up as he makes money, so staying there helps him do this and it didn't bother me. Difficult to locate on Google maps for your driver. Make sure you contact the place in advance for best directions.

"The place was extraordinary. The whole atmosphere was just one of tranquility and peace and the views were stunning. Absolutely loved this place and would have stayed longer if we could. Perfect!"

"The hosts were very friendly and sincere in their service to their guests. The breakfast and dinner were good. We tried their apple cider tasting board and I really enjoyed it. We had bonfire after dinner and the children enjoyed gathering dried grasses to add to the fire. The owner even brought us to their mushroom farm and showed the operation of the farm, which we were very impressed. Hope to visit Cider Barn &more again, maybe in another season."

It was quite a challenge driving in the dark to the accommodation. It’s better to reach there before sunset.

"The host was exceptional. I had passport issues and the lady helped me get to a number of different embassies, and also drove me outn of hours back to the airport when my airline changed flight. Outstanding service. Note that there are no facilities onsite, so come equipped."

It felt like being completely disconnected from everyday life and fully immersed in the peaceful wilderness. Christine is an great host. She takes such loving care of her guests and is always attentive and genuinely committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. "At Finca Agroecológica El Rosal, I was treated as a special member of the family! Lily, Hermania and Ramiro warmly welcomed my friend and I, then arranged a set of tours to fill the afternoon and the next morning. We toured their 100% organic farm, learned about all the natural products they produce, met the animals and gawked at the beautiful vistas. After an amazing lunch, we helped harvest coffee cherries, then ground and roasted them for a delicious cup of Cafe Intag. For the evening, we harvested yuca, and made "pan de yuca" over the wood fire before settling into another delicious meal. In the morning we got to see where the women of the community harvest aloe vera and process it into natural cosmetics. The whole weekend was a lesson in biodynamic agriculture and generosity from a wonderful family living remotely in the beautiful Intag Valley! Don't hesitate to visit this Finca!"

"Great location just near the lake Peipus. The holiday house was just what was needed for one night stay. There was enough outside area to play some games. We also enjoyed the sauna and swim in the lake."

"The host was very friendly and made tons of arrangements for us. He picked us up from the train station, drove us to the grand canyon, and also drove us to the caves. He made a delicious Chinese breakfast that was included and we also paid extra to eat dinner there as well. The hotel is nice and quiet and pretty close to the Grand Canyon - though you will probably still need to drive there."

"We had an awesome stay at the accomodation. The host was exceptional, he showed us around the whole location and we were invited to try the best coffee for free. Also he knows English very well. The terrasse has an amazing view and the food was very delicious. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!"

"Basically everything - the location, the accomodation, the sauna, the host Denis and his communication. I've received all the info needed to get to the accommodation via whatsapp and whenever I needed something during my stay, he responded within 10 minutes."
