The AC and the Fridge in our room were not working but immediately we reported, they were fixed.

"The staff are wonderful and very consistent of disability. The restaurant is excellent with a large menu and reasonable prices. The Indian food is especially good. The surroundings are stunning. There is a farmers market there one Saturday a month"

The WiFi does not work!

Bathrooms deffinately need up dating, carpets in the corridors need taking out and tiles flooring put down there’s really nothing around such as shops, places to eat it is deffinately the last stop before the ferry terminal

"Great resort with many swimming pools, even a shop. The food was good and varied. We only had breakfsat included but chose to have dinner here as well. Staff was super friendly."

There is no wardrobe in the room and no hand tissue was provided. The price was very expensive for the room No shuttle to pick up from the airport

"Great location...600m walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT and Bencoolen and Bras Basah MRT station closeby. A short walk into Orchard Rd, near Chinatown. Easy access to several dining options. Rooms were comfortable and pool was very welcome."

The bacon and sausages at breakfast were not the best but this is usual for Korea. Westerners might notice this, Koreans won't mind them at all.

The hotel has a serious issue with plumbing. Didn't get hot water for quite a long time in teh shower and had to wait long, while the hot water was yelowish.

You can clearly see the creative ideas behind the concept, all focused on making guests feel comfortable. The team work of the staff is impressive. Service is smooth and professional. The food is delicious, breakfasts and lunch were excellent. The spa area is another highlight, especially the hammam and the pool with refreshing ice cold water.Wonderful! Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming hotel that fully deserves a high rating. I would definitely stay here again."

The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in the hallway, especially when guests check in or out or use the shower nearby. The room 105 could benefit from better noise insulation.

I couldn't fault anything really, there was no milk in the room to have with the tea but having been to Amsterdam a few times I know this isn't really a thing for them.

"During our stay, my wife fell ill. Diagnosed with severe malaria, she was transferred from the over-worked Moroni public hospital to a private clinic (at the hotel’s initiative). Over the next week, the Retaj’s staff treated us both as family and could not have been more helpful."

The pool was often closed to guests

We did not know that we should climd a lot of stairs in order to reach the restaurant. It was difficult for our parents.
